ROLLINSVILLE, COLORADO (USA)--ICOM, a leading global network of independent advertising and marketing communications agencies, has appointed Bridgz Marketing Group, Minneapolis, and KMF Werbung, Hamburg, as new members to expand the network’s capabilities.
KMF becomes ICOM’s second agency in Europe’s biggest market of Germany, joining move communications, based in Munich.
KMF brings strength in customer relationship management (crm) and digital/direct marketing. The agency’s clients include Bosch, E-Bay, Microsoft, Navigon (gps), Procter & Gamble, Royal Canin (Mars), Warner Bros. as well as major local and regional companies.
Bridgz also brings new data base and direct marketing capabilities as well as gets ICOM back into the important Minneapolis market. Bridgz focuses on understanding and using customer data first and then designing a campaign using a number of direct techniques. Clients include Carrier, Caterpillar, UnitedHealthcare and US Bank among others.
Although ICOM typically limits most markets to one member agency, in some of the world’s largest markets, such as China, France, India, the U.S. and now Germany, there is a need for more than one member, both to avoid conflict situations and to bring additional capabilities to the network.
About ICOM: The ICOM network is made up of more than 70 member agencies in 50-plus countries. Founded in 1950 as the National Federation of Advertising Agencies, ICOM offers clients an alternative to the huge and increasingly similar agency groups. Today, the network has billings of US$2.4 billion and gross income exceeding US$390 million.
