ICOM Appoints Humming IMC As Its Representative in Korea

ROLLINSVILLE, COLORADO (USA)--ICOM , a leading global network of independent advertising and marketing communications agencies, has appointed Humming IMC, Seoul, to represent the network in Korea.

Established in 2008, Humming IMC has 30 employees and provides integrated marketing communication services to a number of international clients, including Hewlett-Packard, Nikon, Samsung and Adobe.

Co-President Jungwook Noh said the agency joined ICOM to exchange experiences and ideas with other members and to offer Humming IMC’s global capabilities to its clients. “Our connection to other agencies around the world will be valuable to our management and our staff,” he said.

ICOM Executive Director Gary Burandt said ICOM has been looking for the right member to represent the network in the important market of Korea, and Humming IMC fills that role well. “The agency is a welcome addition to ICOM,” he said.

Humming IMC becomes the 13th agency member of ICOM's Asia/Pacific region.

ICOM is the most geographically balanced of international independent advertising and marketing communications networks. ICOM is made up of more than 70 member agencies in 50-plus countries. Founded in 1950 as the National Federation of Advertising Agencies, ICOM offers clients an alternative to the huge and increasingly similar agency groups. Today, the network has billings of US$2.4 billion and gross income exceeding US$390 million.
