ICOM Appoints Fideli As its Representative in Uganda

ROLLINSVILLE, COLORADO (USA) – ICOM, the largest global network of independent advertising and marketing communications agencies, has appointed Fideli, based in Kampala, to represent the network in Uganda.

Founded in 2005, Fideli offers 360-degree marketing communications and a range of advertising and marketing services, including design, media buying and placement, social media, public relations, event management, branding and promotional materials. The agency works for both international and local brands including Airtel, MTN, PostBank and Standard Chartered Bank.

Fideli recently added a new department specializing in campaigns about social issues, mainly in the health sector. “We are currently the only agency in Uganda with in-house social marketing and social communications experts as well as an experienced behavioral change specialist.” said Managing Director David Lukwago.

“In collaboration with the rest of the Fideli team, the social marketing department develops campaigns and messages, all resulting in a big and measurable impact. Fideli also continues to provide our commercial client base with excellent support, based on our wholesome approach to every business.”

ICOM has been expanding its members in this rapidly developing region to be able to provide international clients with a broad Africa communications footprint. Fideli becomes the seventh member of ICOM’s African region, joining agencies in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Tanzania and Zambia.

ICOM offers the broadest geographic coverage of any network of independent advertising and marketing communications agencies through more than 90 member agencies in 65-plus countries.

In welcoming Fideli to the network, ICOM Executive Director Gary Burandt said he is confident that both the network and Fideli will benefit from this union for a long time.

ICOM is the world’s largest independent network of advertising and marketing communications agencies. Annual billings total US$3.5 billion with gross income exceeding US$500 million.
