Darwin & Verne Shine as Spain’s Third-Most Awarded Agency at WINA Festival

Our Madrid-based member agency, Darwin & Verne, made waves as the third-most awarded Spanish agency at the WINA Festival, bringing home seven prestigious accolades, including four gold, one silver, and two bronze awards. This achievement is the latest in a long line of Darwin & Verne's award-winning work, setting a high bar for creativity that consistently inspires both clients and peers.

 

Winning Campaigns that Dazzled

Their campaign Skrull Invasion for Disney+ claimed two bronze and one silver award in ‘Media’ and ‘Interactive’ categories. To launch Secret Invasion, Darwin & Verne ingeniously mirrored the series’ theme of identity-shifting aliens by creating activations where influencers imitated each other on their own channels. This creative approach generated a powerful impact, resulting in over 12 million organic views and boosting the show’s popularity across platforms.

 

Another campaign, DBEAR, earned two gold awards in ‘Content’ and ‘Promo/Activations.’ In collaboration with celebrated chef Diego Guerrero, Darwin & Verne developed a unique dining experience inspired by The Bear, inviting fans to a ten-course meal where each dish reflected an episode of season two. This immersive activation sparked enormous engagement, leading to a 158% increase across social platforms and filling reservations within days.

 

Crafting Emotional Connections through Visual Storytelling

Darwin & Verne’s campaigns Unforgettable and Tock-Tick also received gold awards for excellence in ‘Craft’ and ‘Film.’ In Unforgettable, they captured the magic of unique stays at Paradores hotels through emotive artwork that resonated deeply with viewers. Meanwhile, Tock-Tick for Ruavieja by Pernod-Ricard encouraged audiences to slow down and cherish moments, a message beautifully conveyed through a mixed-media format and subtle, captivating visuals.
