ROLLINSVILLE, COLORADO (USA)--ICOM, a leading global network of independent advertising and marketing communications agencies, has appointed edividual, Amsterdam, and IMA-press, Moscow, to represent the network in Holland and Russia, respectively.
These agencies join ICOM’s EMEA region, comprised of members in 28 countries.
After an extensive review of agencies in Holland, eight-year-old edividual was selected as the best fit for ICOM in part because of the variety of communications skills the agency offers, particularly those needed in today’s interactive world. Among the clients that edividual serves are the City of Amsterdam; the World Wildlife Fund; Jellinek, the country’s biggest addiction recovery institution; and Rocks’, the country’s second largest loyalty program, initiated by Texaco and Super de Boer. Edividual’s specialists also have worked for Bols spirits, Citroen automobiles and Mars candy.
Established in 1992, IMA-press is one of the oldest independent Russian agencies. IMA-press handles a number of government accounts, including the Ministry of Education & Science and the Federal Agency for Press & Mass Communication, as well as traditional business-to-business and consumer accounts. The agency’s president, Vladimir Evstafiev, is a past president of the Russian Association of Communications Agencies and the Moscow chapter of the International Advertising Association.
ICOM is the most geographically balanced of the international independent advertising and marketing communications networks, with more than 70 member agencies in 50-plus countries. Founded in 1950 as the National Federation of Advertising Agencies, ICOM offers clients an alternative to the huge and increasingly similar agency groups. Today, the network has billings of US$2.4 billion and gross income exceeding US$390 million.
